About Us
EGA’s mission is to inspire passion for the needle arts through education and the celebration of its heritage. SOME builds on this by adding fellowship: an opportunity to connect with other stitchers and enjoy the camaraderie that accompanies sharing a passion.
We bring centuries of tradition in stitching circles to the 21st century.
SOME membership offers:
- Monthly meetings of four area groups: Bay Pines Needlers (Cumberland), Kennebunk Area (Kennebunk), Brunswick & Beyond (Brunswick), and Needles & Ponds (Oxford).
- Bi-monthly chapter meetings with classes and lectures
- Bi-monthly newsletters
- The ability to contribute to or be featured in our newsletters

CHAPTER Fundraiser
SOME Chapter announces the release of its latest design book, These Are SOME Pears!
Get 15 unique pear patterns, each designed by our members and featuring a different embroidery technique or style. Each pear comes with detailed instructions and diagrams, many in color, by Denise Harrington Pratt.
All proceeds go to funding education and chapter programs.
