NER 2026 Gold Thread Award

Congratulations to Beth Lindsay, NER Director, for receiving the 2026 Gold Thread Award for the New England Region!

EGA’s Gold Thread Award is an annual award that recognizes outstanding individuals who have given freely of their time and talents, and best exemplify EGA’s purpose. The EGA Scholarship and Awards Committee reviews all nominations and selects a winner from each region. A national Gold Thread Award Winner will be announced at the Opening Banquet during the 2026 national seminar, Wish Upon A Stitch, in Orlando. In addition, all region Gold Thread Award winners will be recognized at the banquet and in an upcoming issue of Needle Arts.

If you know Beth, have worked with her on chapter or region projects, or have been in a class or Studio Time with her, you know that she is well deserving of this recognition. In addition to being the New England Region Director (for the second time!), Beth has also chaired the National EGA Membership & Marketing Committee (and is currently a member of that committee), coordinates membership and treasurer duties for the Mayflower Chapter, and has shared her expertise (and WIPs) on several recent EGA Flosstube episodes. And she still finds time to stitch!

Beth - Kudos to you! Congratulations, and thank you for all you have done, and continue to do, to support and promote EGA and the New England Region!
