Volunteer Opportunities

Ready to make a difference in the embroidery community? We’re looking for passionate members to help shape the future of New England EGA through these exciting volunteer opportunities.

Tech-Savvy Volunteers Needed

As we upgrade our digital presence and streamline operations, we need members comfortable with technology to assist our Communications Chair with:

  • Website content management and updates
  • Social media coordination across platforms
  • Digital asset organization and file management
  • Online event coordination and support
  • Tech troubleshooting for chapters and members

No professional experience required—just enthusiasm for helping EGA embrace the digital age!

TOYS Program Coordinator

Lead our “Teach Our Youth Stitching” initiative in an exciting new direction! We’re transitioning from in-person programming to creating a comprehensive library of free instructional materials for educators. This role involves:

  • Developing age-appropriate embroidery lesson plans
  • Creating step-by-step instructional guides and templates
  • Coordinating with designers to produce downloadable resources
  • Working with Outreach to form partnerships with schools, libraries, and youth organizations

Perfect for someone passionate about education and introducing the next generation to the joy of embroidery!
